What we believe
Restore Rahway is for the whole family. We need strong women and strong men: moms, dads, daughters, sons, and neighbors who love this city. Mothers are not an afterthought. They are central to this work, as voters, volunteers, and candidates.
- God first, through Jesus Christ. Restore Rahway is a Christian movement. We seek the revitalization of Christianity in this city: stronger churches, families rooted in the Gospel, and public life that honors Christ. We stand for American law, not Sharia.
- Financial responsibility. Honest spending is not optional. Every tax dollar is a family's money. We publish the records, watch the budget, live within our means, and oppose deals that shift costs onto homeowners, including the moms and dads trying to keep a house in Rahway. Our goal is to hold the line on property taxes and lower that burden over time. This is the only way forward for Rahway.
- Cut fraud, waste, and abuse. We fight for the people, not to enrich anyone's personal pockets. Waste, abuse, and kickbacks have no place in City Hall or our schools.
- Parents first. Parents, not bureaucrats, decide what their children are taught about faith, family, and identity. Public schools should not be transitioning our kids. We stand with mothers and fathers who want to protect their children and reverse the downward spiral in Rahway public-school academics. Schools should teach reading, writing, math, and history, and keep parents fully informed.
- Help that works. We will help the next generation and our seniors in an efficient way, through family, work, churches, and honest local government, not through socialist or Marxist programs that grow bureaucracy and take people's freedom.
- Fair development. PILOTs are not only for luxury apartments. They can cover warehouses, offices, data centers, and other commercial or industrial projects too. Whatever the project, the payment should cover the costs it brings, so the rest of Rahway is not left holding the bill. Data centers, if built at all, must be built correctly: honest taxes, enough power and water, and a clear benefit for the people who already live here.
- The right kind of growth. We want the right infrastructure and the right businesses investing in Rahway: companies that create real jobs, pay their share, and make the city stronger for the people who already live here. We will not add housing faster than our schools, streets, water, and other services can handle.
- Truth, small government, and open books. We speak from public records, not rumors. Residents deserve plain English about votes, debt, and who benefits. Government should stay limited: do the few things it must do well, and leave the rest to families, churches, and neighbors. Meetings should be easy to watch, contracts should be posted, and records requests should get a prompt, honest answer. Before we act, we will say what our goal is, what the plan is, and what we will do. While we work, we will show our progress. Afterward, we will report the results, good or bad, so the public can hold government accountable.
- A free people. The right to keep and bear arms is essential to living in a free society. So is free speech. Honest elections belong with both: clean voter rolls and voter ID, so every lawful vote counts and no one else's does.
- America and Rahway first. We love this country and this city. We are looking for patriots, women and men, who are tired of watching local tax dollars spent on people who are not U.S. citizens and on people who do not live here. Rahway's money should serve the people who live here, work here, and raise their children here.
- Our assets work for us. Rahway should keep its water assets, not sell them off. We should expand into energy production. City assets should cash-flow, pay for themselves, and pay Rahway's American citizens back through dividends, bill credits, or by making life here more affordable.
- No warrantless tracking. Flock license-plate cameras are unconstitutional. We will not support a surveillance system that records where law-abiding neighbors go without a warrant.
- Real crime, not revenue. Public safety matters, but a police state does not. Police should focus on real crime: violence, domestic abuse, and crimes in progress. Using traffic and parking stops to fine as many people as possible is wrong, and it keeps families struggling. We want departments built around protecting people, not padding the city's fine revenue.
- Accountability. We hold the mayor, council, school board, and ourselves to the same standard: follow the law, show your work, and put residents ahead of insiders. No hidden agendas. The public should be able to see the goal, the plan, the action, and the result.
- A united team. Anyone who runs with Restore Rahway agrees to these beliefs and stands with the other candidates. We are recruiting women and men, and we especially want mothers and other women who are ready to lead, volunteer, or run. Together we will rebuild a strong Republican presence in Rahway.
